The pantomime Treasure Island, 2nd-3rd February 2007

Bursledon being a village long steeped in nautical history, and having performed a re-enactment of the battle of Trafalgar at their Regatta, this seemed the natural place for a nautical pantomime.

This was the second year Bursledon put on a pantomime recently and it was as good as the previous year’s!

Starting in the Jolly Sailor pub where Jim Hawkins is given the ‘black spot’ by Blind Pew the adventure takes him, and his mother and sweetheart, via Southampton out to an island in the sun in search of hidden treasure! With pirates and natives to get in the way of the intrepid party there are many antics and lots of fun to be had on the way!
